Hi everybody so i know this is not my normal video but i figured uh something some of you guys might want to know. So how to fix holes in drywall, as some of you guys know, we are planning on getting our house on the market soon so we got some holes to fix. If you have kids you know what i'm talking about, it's a nightmare, they never stop, anyways so what are you gonna need you need a putty knife, you're gonna need ah you're gonna need some speckle all right and you're going to need a wet rag, don't be a wet rag, just get a wet rag.
All right so quick way to open these up because a lot of people don't know, i know crazy right? With your putty knife you just twist this thing, opens right up crazy crazy how that works uh for those of you because i'm gonna post this on youtube as well i'm starting a youtube channel for those of you guys on instagram uh well i have started a youtube channel a while back i'm gonna actually start using it so you're gonna be able to find this as well on youtube channel and uh there's a link on my bio
i'm opening the lid, it's fun, lots of eye contact as we do this.
lids open, okay so this is what it looks like, don't eat it okay. You're gonna take a little bit a little bit that's a lot a bit
a little bit there we go and you're going to find a hole there's a hole everywhere we're going to find holes i'm going to actually you're going to have to hold this way because i don't know how to turn my phone around so hold it right there she's gonna she's my tripod that's my nickname in the bedroom anyway so we're gonna look if you can just bring right up here you see these these are all holes now how do we keep we're going to fill those holes i know it seems like a lot of putty right.
Now how do we make this look nice because that looks like shit and you are going to have to paint over this, obviously, so that's where your wet rag comes in handy.
huh weird right ends up being flush with your wall all right back down a little bit thank you tripod so now you've got it flush with the wall you can essentially let it dry overnight and you can paint the next day but wet rag put it on there wipe it off if you don't do that you end up with come on this way this way this way the mess like i said we are fixing up the house but without that you end up with this dried on this is not what you want bring back up so if you want it to be flush especially once you've put the paint on so you don't want it to even be known that it's there wipe it off with a wet rag afterwards and then let it dry and if you need to go back maybe four or five hours later do another one another little quick coat that's fine you can do the same thing again all right so hopefully that helps i'll put any in for any of the stuff i used on my youtube channel uh if you're watching this on youtube it'll be down in the description below so that you can use the same stuff i use all right thanks everybody!
